Prayer Point 1: Pray into God’s Timing

Last Thursday on the Jewish spiritual calendar we began a new spiritual year and the new spiritual month of Nissan. Nissan means the beginning of miracles. It is also the month of Redemption with Passover and the Resurrection. Nissan begins the season of spring when evidence of new life starts to bloom around us.

During the long winter months, it appears as if nothing will ever flower again. Most trees are leafless; the grass is still brown lying dormant. New life seems hopeless. Yet as Nissan appears the voice of the Lord calls us saying in Song of Songs 2:10-13 NIV:

“Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me. See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.”

• Parable of the Fig Tree: Many scholars speak of the prophetic rebirth of Israel as being the fig tree in the end-times parable as a symbol for the rebirth and restoration of modern Israel in their land.

• The Tribe of Judah: Nissan is also associated with the Tribe of Judah and Judah means Praise. Jesus is a descendant of Judah. So in this month of Nissan I would like to begin by taking a few minutes to join together and just give God praise before we pray. Let’s all praise!

• A Season of Breakthrough: As we pray into this month of miracles President Trump gave Iran 48 hours then changed to 5 days. We are in a new month and a new year. 5786 is the year of shifting, alignment, and breakthrough. Seems the Lord is speaking a lot about time right now.

  • “Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”

  • “And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.””

Prayer Focus: Let’s pray tonight that the Church would wake up from its slumber and see Israel as the fig tree that is in Matthew 24. That Jesus would find us awake and praying with Him in the Garden of Gethsemane. That we would be found among the faithful when He returns. Let’s all pray.

Prayer Point 2: Pray for our Pastors, Intercessors, and Leaders

“Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.”

• The Spirit of Hezekiah: Hezekiah, the twelfth king of Judea, was a righteous leader. Walking in the ways of King David, King Hezekiah set his heart to follow God. At a time when Judea experienced political and spiritual corruption, much like we are experiencing today in America and Israel, Hezekiah repaired the gates of the Temple and cleansed it from desecration. Much like our prayers go up before the Lord to repair and cleanse America and Israel. King Hezekiah reorganized the priests and the Levites, reinstituted the celebration of Israel’s feasts, and eradicated idolatry throughout the country. People flocked to Jerusalem to worship at the Temple as Hezekiah sought to rally the people back to God. I believe, we as intercessors are the modern day priests and Levites and in the spirit of Hezekiah rally people back to worship, prayer for Israel, and to God.

• Trials and Covenant Love: But a wholehearted commitment to God does not mean His children are exempt from trials and tribulations. Hezekiah fell deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah encouraged the king to prepare for his impending death. Hezekiah cried out to God upon receiving this grim news, reminding God of His faithfulness. Such a bold reminder was itself an expression of faith, as Hezekiah trusted that God was compassionate and would heal him and bless him according to His covenant love.

Prayer Focus: Many pastors, intercessors, leaders including President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are going through lots of trials and tribulations, lots of distractions and hatred. Let’s do as Hezekiah did trust that God will be compassionate, would heal them, guard them, and bless them with His covenant love. Let’s all pray.

Prayer Point 3: National Security & Educational Influence

I. Islamic Foreign Influence Over America’s K-12 Education

• Funding Propaganda: Qatar is not alone in peddling anti-Israel propaganda here at home. Islamic foreign entities are spending MILLIONS to introduce antisemitism in American K-12 schools.

• The NEA Influence: The notoriously left-wing National Education Association (NEA), the nation's largest teachers union, blasted a mass email to its 3 million members last fall, showing a map from Israel had been erased — and replaced with “Palestine.”

• Legislative Action: A bill in the Senate, the Transparency in Reporting of Adversarial Contributions to Education Act (TRACE Act, S.2509), can put an end to this madness! Demand the Senate vote yes. Already passed in the House, this sunlight provision requires public K-12 schools to report donations from foreign nations.

• CAIR & 9/11 Curriculum: The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) published a 9/11 teaching guide to whitewash Islam. It tells educators to avoid "inaccurate and inflammatory terms such as 'Islamic terrorists,' 'jihadists,' or 'radical Islamic terrorists.'”

  • Muslim terrorist Mohammed Atta told his fellow 9/11 hijackers to shout "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is greater). CAIR wants educators to suppress facts like that and give Islam a pass for the worst attack on U.S. soil since Pearl Harbor.

  • CAIR’s executive director said he took “inspiration” from Oct. 7 and was “happy to see” the brutal Hamas massacre of some 1,200 innocent souls.

Scripture:

• “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

• “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”

II. The Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act

• The Incompatibility of Laws: Islamic law is absolutely incompatible with US law. “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” — Hassan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

• Current Trends: Islam is marching across America. NYC Mayor Mamdani has even proposed sharia here in the U.S. Schools are encouraging little girls to don hijabs, and sharia centers are popping up across our nation.

• Legislative Urgent Need: Congress MUST PASS the Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act, H.R. 5722 & S. 3009, before it's too late!

Examples of Sharia's Abuses:

• Rape victims receive a death sentence: Women who reported rape have been charged with adultery and stoned to death or forced to marry the rapist.

• Homosexuality punishable by death: In countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, victims are stoned or hoisted by construction cranes and hung over the city.

• Pedophilia/Child Marriage: Sharia allows adult men to marry underage girls; Muhammad "married" a 9-year-old girl.

• Dress codes enforced with beatings/death: Strict codes for women enforced by fines, arrest, or physical punishment.

• Male Guardianship: Women require permission from a male relative for life decisions like travel or marriage.

• Inequality in Court: A woman’s testimony is treated as worth less than a man’s.

• Loss of Rights: No divorce or custody rights for women.

III. Additional Legislative Concerns

• Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Act of 2025: Currently held up in committee in both the Senate and the House.

Prayer Focus: Lets pray for our governing leaders to take action on this legislation and make this a priority to preserve our Christian faith and heritage and freedom.

• “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—”

• “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established.”

Corporate Prayer: So Father, we ask you Lord to protect our nation from falling into the hands of Islam, equip our congressional leaders to govern responsibly and urgently with these bills that are tied up in committees. We ask you Lord that our leaders would put aside any grievances, offenses, grudges, or wait on political favors before acting. Break down the walls of politics in this year of breakthrough. Let’s all pray.

Donna's Points

Prayer Point #1: The One New Man & Biblical Worldview

• Rejecting the Accuser: Pray for Christians to recognize God’s plan for the one new man and to have a Biblical worldview. To reject the demonic religious spirit that accuses the Jewish people. This doesn’t mean that they are perfect, but we must understand the age-old plot to kill them—from Pharaoh and Haman to Hitler and Hamas—is intended to destroy the witness of the One True God.

• The Backstory: These early attempts were to cut off the Savior. Later attempts are from the enemy seeking dominance over the God narrative. To join the hatred against them is to partner with the enemy.

• Ephesians 2:14-16: "For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has torn down the dividing wall of hostility... to create in Himself one new man out of the two."

• Grafted In: Acts 10 shows the gospel coming to Cornelius (an Italian—shout out to the Italians!). We gentiles have been grafted into God’s plan of redemption.

• Hidden Heart Issues (Psalm 139:23-24): "Search me, God, and know my heart... See if there is any offensive way in me."

• Personal Story: A 90-year-old man in Ocean City confessed to bullying Jewish children as a boy. He had held that shame for decades. Upon repentance, he was set free by the finished work of the cross and received Jesus that day.

Prayer Focus: Lord, do it again! Open hearts and minds to Your love for Your chosen people. LET’S ALL PRAY FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST TO LOOK INWARD... LETS ALL PRAY.

Prayer Point #2: Healing for the People of Israel and the Middle East

• Restoration from Trauma: Declare healing for those suffering from depression, hopelessness, and loss of loved ones. We think of the Crown of Thorns and the victory over mental distress.

• Promises of Comfort: * Psalm 40:1-3: "He lifted me out of the slimy pit... and gave me a firm place to stand."

  • Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted."

  • Matthew 5:4: "Blessed are those who mourn."

  • Revelation 21:4: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes."

• First Responders & Perpetrators: * First Responders: Pray for those who witnessed the 10/7/23 massacre. Ask the Lord to erase the traumatic images.

  • Perpetrators: Pray for those who committed these acts to experience true godly sorrow leading to repentance. Pray that they become the "Pauls" of our day, just as murderous Saul became the Apostle Paul.

  • Revival in Iran: Cause a ruckus in Iran! May the IRGC, Basij, and army come to the Lord Jesus.

Prayer Focus: LET’S ALL PRAY FOR THE SUFFERING PEOPLE... AND EVEN THE PERPETRATORS OF VIOLENCE. LET’S ALL PRAY.

Prayer Point #3: New Leadership in Iran

• Shaking off Indoctrination: Pray for Iranian leaders being contacted to turn from the evil regime. May they choose life and become defenders of their people.

• Boldness like Joshua and Caleb: Pray for mighty men of Iran to serve the Lord.

• Spiritual Warfare: 1 John 4:4 ("Greater is he that is in you"). Remember the hills full of horses and chariots of fire (2 Kings 6:17).

• Establishing a Godly Government: * Raise up leaders of integrity and honesty.

  • Establish a new police force, army, and justice system.

  • Clear the prisons of political prisoners.

  • Establish sound accountability for aid.

• The Underground Church: Rejoice in the revival happening in secret places. May Bibles flood the nation and religious freedom be established. May Israel and Iran become partners in eradicating terrorism.

Prayer Focus: LET’S ALL PRAY FOR THE NEW GOVT IN IRAN AND ESPECIALLY FOR THE NEW LEADERS TO RISE... LET’S ALL PRAY.
