Iowa Capitol Prayer Points 3-10-26

State and Local

1. Anti-foreign law bill – This has passed the House and we prayed on Tuesday that it would get a subcommittee in the Senate and it did later that day! Praise God! Please continue praying that this will pass the subcommittee and move quickly through the Senate – it needs to come out of committee by next Thursday, March 19.

2. Black market abortion pill bill – this bill is stalled in the House. It did not come out of the Senate funnel, and it needs to pass in the House.

3. Parents right to raise a child according to their biological sex bill – this bill also got a subcommittee after praying on Tuesday! Praise God! This bill passed in the House. Please continue praying this bill will come out of committee in the Senate by next Thursday, March 19.

4. Age verification bill – this came out of committee in the Senate – an answer to our prayers!!! Thank You, Lord!

5. Pray for the Senate – there are subcommittees happening in the next 2 days. Pray for the leadership to move the bills forward that need moving. Continue to pray for God’s plans and purposes to move in the Senate, not man’s. We are seeing breakthrough in our prayers – continue to hold the line in prayer for our Iowa Senate. We are battling powers and principalities as well as self-righteousness, pride, greed, etc. God will show us how to pray – He already is – and He is knitting our hearts together as a great army in the spiritual realm for our state and nation. God IS faithful always and especially as we seek Him.

6. Age-appropriate policies for books for minors in libraries – The American Library Association bill of rights requires all books to be equally accessible to ALL ages. This bill would require policy to restrict access to age-inappropriate books for minors, and revoke state funding to libraries if they don’t. This is no different than restricting access to R rated movies for minors in movie theaters. Pray for this to get a subcommittee in the House and also move through committee before next Thursday, March 19.

National and International

1. Senate – Department of Homeland Security bill

2. Military – protection over our military and prayers for those families who have lost loved ones.

3. President Trump and cabinet – Wisdom, clarity, discernment in all decisions – no rash decisions. Wise counsel for our President.

4. Iran, US, Israel – see #2 and 3. Pray protection over the believers in Iran. Pray for a mighty revival/awakening in Iran, to come to know Jesus as their Lord and savior! Pray this also for the Muslims in the US!
